Why Fresh is Best!
* The Roast Date is very important. Immediately after roasting raw coffee beans, the natural flavors and aromas begin to degrade. It is debated that coffee is at its best 2 days after roasting and has a life of about 30 days. Every bag of coffee you receive from Golden Day Farms is labeled with an accurate roast date. If the coffee you bought from a store doesn't have a roast date, then chances are they don't want you to know when it was roasted.
* Coffee should never be bitter. It should always be sweet. The seeds, or beans, are loaded with sugar and roasting them pulls those sugars out giving you a sweet tasting aroma filled cup of coffee. A dark roast will burn off more of the sugar leaving it with less sweetness and less caffeine. If your coffee is bitter, then something is wrong. Either it is stale from its roasting age, roasting process, or improper storage.
* I offer fresh roasted coffee grown from all over the world. It will be personally roasted by me and sent by Priority Mail so you get it within 2-3 business days from the roast date for optimal freshness.
